The résumé writing process is a collaborative effort. It will require you to reflect on your skills, abilities, and—most importantly—the accomplishments and highlights you’ve achieved throughout your career. Through our conversations and my targeted questions, you’ll often recall achievements you may have forgotten or overlooked as being significant. These moments are the gold we’ll use to make your résumé stand out.

I work with individuals who maintain professionalism throughout every stage of the drafting process—people who are respectful, clear, and consistent in communication, and who bring the emotional intelligence needed for a positive working relationship.
I also work with clients who understand the value of a résumé and other self-branding tools. If you are unsure about the process or not ready to fully commit to a professional collaboration, I will politely decline your request. I do not work with individuals who believe that payment grants permission for unprofessional or disrespectful behavior.

The Process
Once we agree to work together and finalize payment, I begin by reviewing your current résumé to identify its strengths and areas for improvement.
From there, I conduct in-depth research on the jobs and organizations you’re targeting—as well as the companies you’ve worked for in the past. This helps me align your professional history with the qualities employers are actively seeking, ensuring your résumé highlights the most relevant achievements while maintaining the integrity of your career story.
After completing the first round of revisions, I send you an initial draft for feedback. Based on your input, I make edits and refinements until we reach a version you’re 100% happy with. On average, this takes four to five rounds of revisions.
Once the résumé is finalized, I run it through an ATS scanner to ensure it’s fully optimized for your target roles. I then move on to your cover letter—tailoring it to the company’s needs, the role’s requirements, your professional highlights, and, when appropriate, your personality. The cover letter also goes through our collaborative review process until you’re completely satisfied.
If you’ve selected a package that includes a customized résumé and cover letter template, I design it to reflect your industry and, when relevant, your personal style. At the end of the process, you’ll receive both Word and PDF versions of all finalized documents.
